Kinder Morgan fined for Air violations

Kinder Morgan fined $6,400, for air violations by the TCEQ (Texas Commission on Environmental Quality) which investigated Kinder Morgans Texas pipeline in Bee county on May 27, for failure to submit a renewal application at least six months before its expiration, obtain authorization to operate the emissions sources at the plant after the permit expired and report permit deviations within 30 days after the end of the deviation reporting period.
Corrective action: The company submitted a permit application, obtained an air permit and submitted a deviation report and devised permit compliance certification.
